Buycloud

A cadastre for cumulus clouds. Buyers claim a cloud with a selfie, an AI draws its border, and the deed is filed in a shared sky-map with the cloud’s coordinates, speed, energy and temperature frozen at the moment of purchase. When clouds collide, the bigger one eats the smaller. An art project by Noa Jansma about ownership and climate change, exhibited at Het Nieuwe Instituut in Rotterdam. Platform developed by Marco Tiberio.
